The Auditorium Theatre is an organization that thrives on the shared humanity that the performing arts can provide, and we are at our best when the work that we present on our stage reflects the world around us and the audiences that walk through our doors. We are outraged when we see continued and blatant racism and violence against Black people, in our own city and beyond, and we grieve for the countless lives that have been taken: George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Laquan McDonald…sadly, the list keeps going on and on.
We acknowledge these injustices and we hope to work together as an organization with our staff, friends, and supporters on how to establish real and significant change in our community.
