Chicago set for another big TV year

Hollywood's fling with Chicago-set TV productions shows no sign of easing up.

Ten shows will be in town this summer and fall filming episodes, and most of them will be pretty much shot in their entirety here, rather than just dropping into town for location work. According to the city's film office, the work should lead to another record after 2017, in which film and media projects were here for 2,404 production days, resulting in an estimated $423 million in local expenditures.
