OSHA 10/General Entertainment Safety Training

iatse training trustThe IATSE Training Trust is pleased to announce that the next stop on the 2016 Entertainment Safety Tour is Madison, WI!  You are probably already familiar with the Tour but in case you are not – this a course tour, of sorts, where we organize a course and take it around the US to locations determined by the information gathered on the convention survey.  Due to popular demand, we are continuing to offer the OSHA 10/Entertainment Safety – a 2 day course in which participants gain basic entertainment safety knowledge and receive their OSHA 10 cards after completion of the course.

The Training Trust Fund is bringing the Entertainment Safety Tour to Madison, WI on Sunday, June 26 & Monday, June 27, 2016.

The training is limited to 40 people, so individuals should send in their applications right away if they are interested in attending.

This course is appropriate for all locals including stage, wardrobe, and studio mechanics locals.

While the training itself is free, the Training Trust Fund cannot pay for travel, lodging or meals for participants that are traveling to attend this training.

OSHA 10/General Entertainment Safety - Madison


This two day training covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as general industry safety and health principles.  Topics include scope and application of the OSHA general industry standards as related to the Entertainment Industry.  Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous, using OSHA standards as a guide.

If you are interested in this training, submit a calendared course application for the OSHA 10/General Entertainment Safety training in Madison, WI to the IATSE Training Trust Fund.  We will notify you once we have reviewed your application, determined eligibility, and have a space for you in the training.

DATES: Sunday, June 26th & Monday, June 27th, 2016
TIME: 8AM - 4PM each day

COST: The two day workshop itself is free of charge for participants.  The IATSE Training Trust Fund cannot, however, cover the costs for travel, lodging, meals, or per diems associated with travel or participation in this workshop.
