September Pride Town Hall

Sisters, Brothers and Kin,

The time has come for the September edition of our IATSE Pride Town Halls. This month's topic is about LGBTQ+ health and welfare, and we have invited representatives from our various health plans to attend. They will give a short presentation about their respective plans and attendees will then have a chance to ask questions specific to LGBTQ+ health. Please note that they will unable to answer questions about your specific coverage. This is intended to be a broader discussion about LGBTQ+ health and the options that are available, while providing feedback regarding LGBTQ+ specific coverage that may not have been addressed by our plans previously.

Although we don't usually like to split up the group, since healthcare is country-specific, we are holding two separate sessions, one dealing with the American plans, and one dealing with the Canadian plans. Any and all are welcome at either or both, but the information presented will be country-specific.

The first session will occur on our usual third Friday of the month schedule, and will center on the American Plans:

Date: Friday, September 18th
Time: 2:00pm EDT (11:00am PDT)

Guest Speakers:
Dr. Janice Spinner, Chief Medical Officer - Motion Picture Industry & Health Plans
Scott Trivigno, Director of Benefits – IATSE National Benefit Funds

Time: 3:30pm EDT (12:30am PDT)

Guest Speakers:
Lynn Malo, Senior MEP - Trustee Account Executive - CanadaLife
Julia Neville, International Representative – IATSE Canada Health Plan

In solidarity and pride,
