To the Local 769 Membership
Something fun from me for a change!
I’ve been, obviously, thinking a lot about community, and what it means to be a member of a union and with those things in mind, I want to present the structure for our February PAC Fundraiser. Date and location TBD.
Union Made: a 769 community stash buster/potluck/skill share event.
The event will be ticketed, and members will be invited to participate in a myriad of ways. At the end of the day, everyone who participates will have created a 769/IATSE/Union inspired quilt square (don't be afraid of this, all skill levels welcome) and will hopefully leave having learned a little more about their union kin. Those squares will be used to make a quilt that will be raffled off once it is complete. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event and digitally leading up to the day of the raffle.
