We celebrate Sister lynn ziehe

It's with an exceptionally heavy heart that I share with everyone the sad news regarding our dear Sister, lynn ziehe. lynn departed from us earlier this afternoon (August 3, 2020) after some recent health challenges. lynn was initiated into IATSE Local 769 on September 12, 2000. She had an extensive history of working both film/television as well as studio/live theater venues. lynn was most recently a Seamstress, Day Worker and Dresser on several productions including most lately at the Joffey Ballet and Hamilton-Chicago. In addition to this, for several years she served as a member of  the 769 Financial Committee. She previously also served us in her role of Trustee to the Executive Board. We thank you, Sister lynn for the time, talents, wisdom, humor, as well as OPINIONS that you have chosen to share with many of us over the years. You have taught so much to so many. "Jeopardy" as well as jigsaw puzzles will forever be memorable to many of us due to your passion. For this and everything else we are most grateful. Cheers to you, Sister lynn!

Deepest sympathies to the MANY of her "769 Family Members" who have shared and supported Sister lynn through her recent journeys.

We will further communicate and update if/when memorial arrangements are finalized and shared.
