Friend, Each year we come together on Workers Memorial Day, April 28, to remember those who have suffered and died on the job, and to renew the fight for safe workplaces. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CFL is hosting an online Workers Memorial Day commemoration tomorrow night at 6 p.m. at facebook.com/chicagolabor. On Tuesday at 6 p.m., join us to commemorate Workers Memorial Day This pandemic has made it even more important for us to commemorate those who have passed away on the job. We will come together to call for action on hazards that cause unnecessary injury, illness and death. We will stand united against the ongoing attacks on workers’ rights and protections, and demand that elected officials put working people’s well-being above corporate interests. We will fight for the right of every worker to a safe job until that promise is fulfilled. Join us here tomorrow night at 6 p.m. Be sure to sign up for a reminder for tomorrow's event, and join us at 6 p.m. at facebook.com/chicagolabor. Thank you for taking time to renew the fight for strong safety and health protections for all workers. In Solidarity,
